We had a simply scrumptious afternoon of cheese and wine with stone wheat crackers. A domestic cheese but Vermont Cheddar so that was acceptable, you know. I mean one simply has to buy locally. A Vermont wine, of a delightful Wednesday vintage, rivaling anything imported from New Jersey, complemented the crackers and the cheddar added to the heady aroma of the burn barrel cleverly hidden in the corner of the lea.
