Friday April 31, 2009, 9:59 AM Washington — Obama administration officials, alarmed at doctor shortages, are looking for rapid ways to increase the number of physicians to meet the needs of an aging population and millions of uninsured people.

DHS, HUD and CDC officials said they were particularly concerned about shortages of primary-care providers who are the main source of health care for most Americans.
Even if you have health insurance, you cannot afford to see a doctor.

Anyone wishing to see a doctor outside the system is free to do so with or without private insurance.
They will have to do this with after tax dollars of course.

Congress will keep the private care and staff it currently enjoys.
