Idiot’s Corner

To a Progressive, getting smacked in the face by the failure of one’s issues and programs, doesn’t alter one’s stance. When it effects the very voters you’re looking to influence, someone is going to realize being a Democrat Socialist gets the label of cretin.

Ha: Ocasio-Cortez Laments Coffee Shop Driven Out of Business Over Minimum Wage Hike She Supports

Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lamented the closure of a New York City coffee shop on Monday, which is ironic considering a major factor contributing to it shutting down was because of higher minimum wage laws—a position she supports. [snip]

The Coffee Shop in Union Square, which became especially famous after regularly appearing on HBO’s “Sex and the City,” will close down this fall after nearly 28 years in business. Co-owner and President Charles Milite announced the decision to shut the doors to its 150 employees last month.

But unlike what Ocasio-Cortez wants you to believe about the closing down, it wasn’t the result of greedy capitalists trying to squeeze the workers, but rather government regulations that forced the company to go bust.

“The times have changed in our industry,” Milite told the New York Post last month. “The rents are very high and now the minimum wage is going up and we have a huge number of employees.” (FoxNews.com)

A higher minimum wage is one of the issues Ocasio-Cortez has been outspoken about. On her campaign website, she calls for a $15 minimum wage.[snip]

Her answer to this is the progressive call for a guaranteed wage each month sufficient to allow for a wage permitting a normal life. One has to believe her fellow Socialist will tell you what that is and what you will contribute.

Will someone ask her what portion of her annual income is our ‘fair share’.

Will the little darlings…

…choose correctly or pick one of the new 73 different genders? Or will the parents screw their kids up for life..

‘Boy or girl?’ Parents raising ‘theybies’ let kids decide

Three-year-old twins Zyler and Kadyn Sharpe scurried around the boys and girls clothing racks of a narrow consignment store filled with toys. Zyler, wearing rainbow leggings, scrutinized a pair of hot-pink-and-purple sneakers. Kadyn, in a T-Rex shirt, fixated on a musical cube that flashed colorful lights. At a glance, the only discernible difference between these fraternal twins is their hair — Zyler’s is brown and Kadyn’s is blond.

Is Zyler a boy or a girl? How about Kadyn? That’s a question their parents, Nate and Julia Sharpe, say only the twins can decide. The Cambridge, Mass., couple represent a small group of parents raising “theybies” — children being brought up without gender designation from birth. A Facebook community for these parents currently claims about 220 members across the U.S.

“A theyby is, I think, different things to different people,” Nate Sharpe told NBC News. “For us, it means raising our kids with gender-neutral pronouns — so, ‘they,’ ‘them,’ ‘their,’ rather than assigning ‘he,’ ‘she,’ ‘him,’ ‘her’ from birth based on their anatomy.”

Parents in the U.S. are increasingly raising children outside traditional gender norms — allowing boys and girls to play with the same toys and wear the same clothes — though experts say this is happening mostly in progressive, well-to-do enclaves. But what makes this “gender-open” style of parenting stand out, and even controversial in some circles, is that the parents do not reveal the sex of their children to anyone. Even the children, who are aware of their own body parts and how they may differ from others, are not taught to associate those body parts with being a boy or girl. If no one knows a child’s sex, these parents theorize, the child can’t be pigeonholed into gender stereotypes. [snip]

Parents raising their children without designated genders aim to block these biases, allowing kids to explore and determine where they fall in their own time.

Dr. John Steever, assistant professor of pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center in New York, sees gender-open parenting as a way to show children that they will be accepted no matter their identity. This could be particularly important for transgender children, who have higher rates of depression and suicide attempts, he said. [snip]

Kids at these young ages don’t know or care about gender. Parents who think they can make these choices for them by not differentiating lose that control when the tykes get into school where normal children soon find out where they belong . those with a mental disorder soon become ostracized; The real world is a mean and harsh place; despite what the Loons on the Left think, disordered individuals are not welcomed as “brothers”

Fortunately, this defective view of reality occurs in “Progressive” communities and not in the general population. Liberalism is a defective view of reality across the spectrum. A Darwinian view of human evolution points out how natural selection truncates expatiation of of that genetic abnormality. The is always some avatar popping up. They die off.

Collusion? What Collusion!

These two have been doing more than investigating Whitewater improprieties. It’s a sure bet it even goes beyond swapping underwear. Putting them in adjoining cells isn’t painful enough punishment.

Some persons may find this post offensive. Too Bad! We found this putzpunim offensive. The one positive statement able to be made of him is he couldn’t have hemorrhoids. He was a perfect asshole.

One has to assume this was a political statement. NRA members don’t make such public vocal outcries and the Trump base isn’t upset, we shall believe it was some Lefty crank that ceased putting extra CO2 into the atmosphere. also legitimate gun owners don’t remove desirable weapons from the pool in this manner.

Man shoots himself dead at the North Lawn of White House

The White House was put in lockdown on Saturday afternoon after a man shot himself dead at the North Lawn.

The shooting happened at around noon and sparked panic inside as staff were told to shelter in place.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Political journalists sheltered in the briefing room and tweeted first about the incident.

Not long afterwards, the Secret Service said it was a person who had shot themselves.

The president is at Mar-a-Lago with the First Lady and Barron. He is due to return to Washington DC on Saturday. [snip]

He did the gene pool and some state’s voter registration a favor. Liberals have a mixed reaction to all this, A school somewhere is safe. Climate Change has less CO2 added and the land fills less trash. But they lost another crackpot voter.

He didn’t have good gun control; took several rounds to hit his target: His head.

Hillary shouldn’t be running for office; she should be doing stand up comedy.

Mrs. Bill Clinton Says Harvey Weinstein-Type Behavior ‘Can’t be Tolerated Anywhere’

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was first lady to President Bill Clinton, told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview broadcast yesterday that the sort of behavior the movie magnate Harvey Weinstein engaged in “can’t be tolerated anywhere.” [snip]

Here is the transcript of an excerpt of Zakaria’s interview with Clinton:

Fareed Zakaria: “What was your reaction when you heard the news about Harvey Weinstein?”

Hillary Clinton: “I was just sick. I was shocked. I was appalled. It was something that was just intolerable in every way. And, you know, like so many people who have come forward and spoken out, this was a different side of a person who I and many others had known in the past.”

Zakaria: “Would you have called him a friend?”

Clinton: “Yes, I probably would have and so with so many others. You know, people in Democratic politics for a couple of decades appreciated his help and support. And I think these stories coming to light now and people who never spoke out before, having the courage to speak out just clearly demonstrates that this behavior that he engaged in cannot be tolerated and cannot be overlooked. And I’m hoping that the—“

Zakaria: “Do you think it was tolerated because he was powerful?”

Clinton: “I don’t know.”

Zakaria: “A lot of people say people knew.”

Clinton: “Well, I certainly didn’t and I don’t know who did. But I can only speak for myself and I think speak for many others who knew him primarily through politics. But the courage of these women coming forward now is really important because it can’t just end with one person’s disgraceful behavior and the consequence that he is now facing. This has to be a wake-up call and shine a bright spotlight on anything like this behavior anywhere at any time.

“We’ve had a series of revelations about companies in Silicon Valley, you know, just sexual harassment and sexual assault being kind of accepted. That’s the cutting edge of our economy. That’s where a lot of young people have their first or most significant jobs.

“This can’t be tolerated anywhere, whether it’s entertainment or tech or anywhere.”

Zakaria: “Senator Blumenthal says that people should give back the money that he donated to them. He donated money to you directly and indirectly. Would you give the money back?”

Clinton: “Well, there’s no one to give it back to. What other people are saying, what my former colleagues are saying is they’re going to donate it to charity. And, of course, I do that. I give 10 percent of my income to charity every year. This will be part of that. There’s no doubt about it.”

Why not? There isn’t a thing in the Constitution stating that one needs a permit to own or carry a gun. But journalists believe that the Second Amendment needs all sorts of controls. Why not the First Amendment too.

Lawmaker proposing media permits to show how unfair gun permits are

Lawmaker proposing media permits to show how unfair gun permits are

A lawmaker in Indiana is proposing that the media be required to apply for a ‘journalism license.’

Indiana State Rep. Jim Lucas (R) proposed that journalists should meet the same requirements as gun owners, who have concealed carry permits, and drafted a bill that would mandate a license to practice it.“If you’re OK licensing my Second Amendment right, what’s wrong with licensing your First Amendment right?” Lucas told the IndyStar.

His bill would require that journalists apply for their license with the state police. The application process would cost $75, and each reporter would be fingerprinted. The lawmaker’s bill would reject journalists, who have a felony or domestic battery conviction.

The Indiana lawmaker equates the need for the media permit with the obligation for gun holders to have concealed carry licenses. Lucas has been a staunch opponent to gun permits and fees, but says that the media contributes to the negative stereotypes associated with gun laws. He thinks if gun owners are required to have permits, then the media should be held to the same standard saying that journalists play a significant role in the negative stigma associated with firearms.

“If I was as irresponsible with my handgun as the media has been with their keyboard, I’d probably be in jail,” he said.

Rep. Lucas, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, has been vocally against the state’s permit laws. To Lucas, Americans have a constitutional right to carry that should not require a permit.

Cynically, the lawmaker wants journalists to abide by the same rules that gun holders do to emphasize the inappropriateness of permit requirements. [snip]

Obama’s hero,Bergdahl and parents wee invited to White House.

Army Sgt. Bergdahl pleading guilty to desertion, misbehavior

Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl told a military judge on Monday that he’s pleading guilty to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.

“I understand that leaving was against the law,” said Bergdahl, whose decision to walk off his remote post in Afghanistan in 2009 prompted intense search and recovery missions, during which some of his comrades were seriously wounded.

“At the time, I had no intention of causing search and recovery operations,” Bergdahl said, but he added that now he does understand that his decision prompted efforts to find him.

Bergdahl, 31, is accused of endangering his comrades by abandoning his post without authorization. He told a general after his release from five years in enemy hands that he did it with the intention of reaching other commanders and drawing attention to what he saw as problems with his unit. [snip]

This indicates that they did not reach a deal to limit his punishment, and that he may be hoping for leniency from the judge, Army Col. Jeffery R. Nance. The misbehavior charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison, while the desertion charge is punishable by up to five years. [snip]

Just what we need in Congress. There are enough mental defectives sitting in chairs in DC now without another running for a space. Call he Men in Black!

Miami politician says aliens took her on a spaceship. Now she’s running for Congress.

Florida has a U.S. senator who once flew aboard the Space Shuttle.

A congressional candidate from Miami can go one better: Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera says she’s been aboard a spaceship too. But this one was crewed by aliens. As in extraterrestrials.

Three blond, big-bodied beings — two females, one male — visited her when she was 7 years old and have communicated telepathically with her several times in her life, she says. (Sen. Bill Nelson served as payload officer aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia in 1986. All seven people aboard were from Earth. As far as is known.)

Rodriguez Aguilera, 59, a Republican who is running to replace retiring Miami Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, recounted her experience with the ETs during a 2009 television interview.

She described “going up” inside the spaceship — though whether it went into space or just hovered around town was left unclear.

“I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship — not like airplanes,” Rodriguez Aguilera said.

In two separate videos posted to YouTube years ago, one by local Spanish-language station America TeVe and another by a political critic with the user name DoralGirl26, Rodriguez Aguilera spoke on television in detail about her extraterrestrial experiences. She said the alien beings reminded her of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer, with arms outstretched.

Among the things she said she found out from the aliens:

  • There are 30,000 skulls — “different from humans” — in a cave in the Mediterranean island of Malta.
  • The world’s “energy center” is in Africa.
  • The Coral Castle, a limestone tourist attraction South Miami-Dade, is actually an ancient Egyptian pyramid.
  • “God is a universal energy.”

She also said that the aliens had mentioned Isis, though she didn’t clarify if they meant the terrorist organization or the ancient Egyptian goddess.

Teardrops falling like rain… now since Weiner has to face some serious time. This critter is a disgrace but typical of the Donkey Party; remorse only after they get caught.

Anthony Weiner gets hard time

Anthony Weiner got a stiff dose of reality Monday as a judge slapped him with a nearly two-year sentence for sexting with a 15-year-old girl — a heinous crime that cost him both his marriage and his freedom.

Manhattan federal Judge Denise Cote rejected defense pleas to spare Weiner any time behind bars and instead ordered him to spend 21 months in a federal penitentiary, saying she needed to make an example of the high-profile pervert.

Weiner, who had faced up to ten years in prison, hung his head in shame, covered his face and cried silently into his hands.

He broke down a second time at the end of the hearing, as his lawyers tried to comfort him by patting his back. His mom, Frances, wept in the gallery, where she sat with Weiner’s dad, Morton, and his brother, Jason.

Weiner didn’t stop crying until after court officers had cleared the room.

Weiner, 53, had begged the judge for probation so he could continue recovering from his longtime sex addiction and “be a good father to my son.”

The serial sexter struggled with his emotions as soon as he started reading a prepared statement in which he described reaching a new low by getting involved online with the underage North Carolina teen.

According to the feds, Weiner sent her “adult pornography” and repeatedly convinced her to strip naked and fondle herself while he watched via Skype and Snapchat in February and March 2016. [snip]

“I was a very sick man for a very long time, but I’m also responsible for the damage I have done. Your Honor, I have a disease, but I have no excuse.”

Weiner said he was “profoundly sorry to the victim” and obliquely referenced the previous sexting scandals that forced him from Congress in 2011 and torpedoed his 2013 comeback bid for New York City mayor. [snip]

Since when is being a pervert a disease?
Right after being a drunk became a disease.
Yup, the disease of victimhood, this allows one to wander the streets in sackcloth and ashes beating you head with a board while wailing “I’m a victim, help me.”

Next he’ll want a trophy for confessing.
